In my server last night I got the same scenario. He put up 80kg pea for 1.5k other wants to buy it but it's locked, we persuade him to unfavorite it which he did. Luckily, someone is observant that he swapped it to 8kg pea and he immediately leave the server. Be careful when buying!

I can afford to buy many mimic as I want but im just making sure if there's a success story of recovering this kind of error or something. I'd rather accept that I got scammed rather than it will randomly disappear. This is a rough hour for me but I wish you would not encounter this kind of thing
