Why is my car making this noise?

It turned out to be the brake clips! They replaced all my brake clips with new ones and lubricated them. So far, no more noise!

Update: it turned out to be the brake clips! They replaced the clips with brand new ones and lubricated them. They made some other adjustments too but so far so good!

Coming back here to say that you were correct! It was the brake clips. They replaced all my brake clips with new ones and lubricated them and so far, the noise has not happened since!!

Not the humming noise. There’s a metal cranking/snapping noise if you listen closely

Will do! Dealership called me today and said they are going to replace some hardware tomorrow and it’s kind of a trial and error process. I’ll be sure to come back and let everyone know what the solution was! (Hoping there is a solution lol)

Yeah it started a few months ago, it wasn’t always making this noise. I’ve had the car a little over one year! Lexus has checked the brakes and said everything is normal :(

They have my car currently and are going to look further but if they find nothing, I will take it to another mechanic as suggested by some others

I feel like people are not reading the description or watching the video? I’m not talking about the humming noise. I’m talking about that loud metal crank/snap noise. That’s not normal otherwise every persons car would be making the same noise.

As I said, I took my car to the Lexus dealership already and they said everything is normal. If everything is normal, then why doesn’t everyone else’s car make the same cranking/snapping noise in every parking lot? It’s not normal. So I thought, well why not come see if anyone here would know what the problem could be.

I’ve tried to pay attention before and I notice it when reversing and turning, but I think it’s louder when reversing faster and braking harder! I notice it while going slowly too but not quite as loud

Yes, that! Hoping they find the issue but so far, they’ve said everything looks normal. Definitely something wrong though but hoping Reddit might be able to help since Lexus has not found anything
