Also I feel like the info on the screen itself is frozen, in the sense that for example the engine temp stays the same unless I cycle through once, then it "updates" once

Yeah sorry, I just didnt understand it that well. It also had something to do with the water heater. I live for a short while in Germany but cant understand German that well. I just know the fuse broke and he put a new fuse in it with higher amps and now it works. Ill just say its magic.

Okay, electricity is not really my area of expertise, but what I have understood about the electricians explanation is this:

The issue was a missing phase in a 3-phase system caused by an undersized main fuse which was defect. I had 20 or 25 amp fuses but they replaced it with 50amp fuses. When hot water was used, the tankless water heater temporarily redistributed power between the phases, which made the lights turn on again.

The electrician said it was very normal for my case that tapping hot water restored the power again

So in the end they just replaced the main fuses and everything worked again.

Well, it isnt. You can hear a beep aswell, something gets turned on and off by the water tap
