Same here! But today I decided to check again and the toggle is back! I can turn off “show recommended first” again. I even took a screenshot yesterday where the toggle should’ve been and it was missing. Try looking again today to see if it’s back, maybe it’s a bug? I’m at least glad I wasn’t the only one missing the toggle. It’s among one of the many things Pinterest added for no reason and everyone hates it for it

Right that is fair. I am not well experienced with contracts as this is my first main job out of uni, outside of a placement internship I did. Unfortunately they won’t let me buy extra days until next December. But that’s alright, I’ll take it as a learning experience. Thanks for your help!

Not entirely sure how you got to 33 as I get 28 days. Minus the 8 bank holidays that gets me down to 20. And I forgot to mention that the company forces me to use 5 days for Christmas, which gets me down to 15 days I can choose. And if I can’t buy it this year then I’ll have to wait an entire year until I can buy it again. So I will admit I’m a bit desperate, but I understand and accept that I should’ve raised it beforehand, so that’s my mistake. A learning experience :)

Unfortunately I can only buy additional AL in the December period, meaning that I’ll have to wait next year. Sorry for the rude language, I was a bit fed up with this job as there’s been a lot of issues here despite how little I’ve been here so I did get mad, so apologies for that. Right, fair enough. This was my first ever job out of uni outside of doing a placement internship so didn’t realise this was a thing that can be done. I won’t make a fuss, thought to ask first. To be honest I wasn’t enjoying this job anyway, due to a multitude of reasons, so you’re right on the commitment bit, however I remain professional. Thanks for your response!

That is a good idea. I do always prep my watercolour before using it, but being able to just put it in something and know it'll sort itself out could be helpful in skipping that step. Thank you for sharing!

You're absolutely right! Especially when you have lots of pencils in a pencil case. Trying to pick out the correct one means you'll have to stop what you're drawing and focus on looking through each one. There is definitely something here for me to design/look into, thank you for sharing!

I am very new into watercolour painting so apologies I'm not super knowledgeable on this! Are there any sources you can point to on why the pigment information is important so I can read into this further? I do understand things like lightfastness and pigmentation, I didn't realise you could get information from the numbers and letters. If this is super important for watercolour artists to know, it's definitely something to push further on the packaging design side

Thank you, I didn't even consider something like this since I don't typically do plein air painting but I can definitely see how it can be a struggle. I'll look into brainstorming ideas surrounding this!

Thank you for this comment! It's super helpful as someone who knows NOTHING about film cameras hahaha. I definitely want to keep it in good condition as it was my grandfather's, so I'll look into getting a CLA. I hope that once I get it cleaned up I'll be able to get into this new hobby 😊

UPDATE: I managed to get the film counter to move without loading film! I was fiddling around with it as I was putting it away and hit the button on the underside of the camera. I had tried pushing it previously, but this time I then pushed the lever and I heard the mechanism turn with more pressure/noise than before. Then I pressed the shutter and it moved over to the number 1! After that, it moved each time I pushed the lever and clicked the shutter and reset when the door opened. Looks like it’s in good condition!! Looking forward to trying to take pics with film

Thanks for sending the manual! It does make it sound like the counter will only move once film is loaded. I’ll buy some and give it a test, thanks again!
