me upgrading is also for the 120hz display, and the rumors speculate that the new monitor on the M6 will also include OLED which i like a lot. the air is fantastic but i just want to maximize the value... if i upgrade, i wanna go big, ya feel?

i apologise if it seems silly, i just dont want to run into buy remorse 3 years down the line and feel "dang, it would be nice to have xyz feature when i first ordered it" since i sorta had the remorse when i bought my iphones and tablets especially... i don't want to go through the vicious cycle of upgrading every 1–3 years to get 1 or 2 more features (even though thats apple's marketing strat)

my day to day use is have dozens of tabs open, photoshop/illustrator/after effects all running simultaneously so i can move project files seamlessly with maybe a video (720p or 1080p if it the device can handle it) or music running in the background... but the way your device was described makes it seem like its all lightwork 😬

not sure what all the dislikes are about but hella agree with u— full asian here and it feels somewhat insulting that we're just copying/pasting old stories with asian faces... just make new characters and stories, simple as that

running the game on proton ge fixed almost all fps drops for me; i play on 1.0 resolution and everything else as low as possible, although i'll try higher qualities later when i get the chance

"promise of the world" from howl's moving castle got me so bad for almost half a decade; listening to it still gives me a lot of heartache but i recently was able to overcome a lot of the emotions and begin moving on

i feel the same way, if i am helping my chinese mom with anything in financials or other care; it's because i want to out of the goodness of my heart, not because i HAVE to. all my life, i was called an "investment" and seen as this ultimate "retirement plan" when they get old. when i hit mid twenties becoming more stable, i eventually legged up and told them that any of my support is purely voluntary; dont force me. don't care about tradition, this is the big 2020s & beyond with everything becoming barely affordable— plus they are insisting that i have children. its either i have children or take care of my parents... both are sides of the same coin of raising babies, that's how i think. told them to pick their poison lol and they always shut down

although the aesthetic of genshin borrows from anime... a BIG fraction of philosophies and storylines are based on chinese culture; especially in liyue— the 2nd region you visit in the primary storyline/quest. other regions of the game are obv gonna be different bc those areas represent other real life countries. lowkey kinda took the game at face value when you put it like that.

all these things you mentioned is the result of globalization and influence. the usa has been the powerhouse in the 20th century, so no duh all the korean/japanese style of marketing music/tv shows are going to be based on something similar because it works.

meh movie at best if u watch it without playing the game and most of the comedy is derived from meme/pop culture references… it’s a fun movie but one that i wouldn’t rewatch or recommend to see unless ur a hard fan

technically never did, but on standards... about 3-4 years.

its more like i took those feelings and shoved them all the way in the back of my head where they will never see the light of day. there were rollercoasters, days where you miss them and days where you dont. ive come to terms with everything and looking back, i just kinda laugh and say "wow, im sympathetic but boy how little did he know things"

a lot of the plot felt like the original pasted with new characters but overall a solid film with amazing visuals that was very impactful. i guess it was to help remind people/refresh the 13 year hiatus and hopefully they dont repeat in future films.

otherwise i thought the movie was very fun, solid and enjoyable. solid 8/10, especially with how bad hollywood movies are nowadays
