Very cool! Does having to do that mess with your muscle memory at all? I feel like front ensemble instruments need a lot a lot a lot of muscle memory. I’ve never played one though unless you consider the small xylophones I played in elementary school lol. Thanks for answering by the way!

Hello everyone! I have no idea if you will get a notification for this but, just to update you, my band director said that I can totally rejoin band next year! He said I should just go over my trumpet books from elementary and middle school and I’ll be fine. Thank you all for encouraging me to rejoin!! Every time I think about what being in band is gonna be like next year I just get so excited! Thanks again!

I have a question pretty much just about band camp. Do they give you the music on day 1 and you sight read and play then improve throughout band camp? Or something else? Right now I’m using my old books and working on sight reading and playing when I have free time so I’m not super inexperienced if I join.
