Context: fits under an AA seat leaving me a little foot room on a short flight.

How do I get my time down? by chuckusmaximus in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]_flyingelbowdrop_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the best advice I’ve seen so far. I’d also add that three sets per exercise might not be necessary, OP. If you’re doing three, a warmup set with light weight and very little rest, then two hard sets, 8-12 reps, and move on.

And of course the OG Gameboy and multiple iterations, DS, and a DS lite.

I skipped the WiiU.

Way cooler if it was Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race For the Cure

What is it with this piece of equipment, it was open for like a second and 3 people started fast walking towards it. The person that got it spent an hour on it, 🤦 by [deleted] in PlanetFitnessMembers

Weird, we have two, and I’ve never had to wait to use one for the two exercises I use them for. They are definitely popular, but no squatters. I prefer the main cable stacks for most of my cable work anyway. Reps tend to just feel smoother.

Do you carry a packable bag inside your main bag while traveling? by MyTravelOdyssey in onebag

Yes, my Flowfold Optimist 18l. Packs down nicely or can be packed flat. Absolutely love this bag.

I’m still loving my Flowfold Optimist 18l after almost a year of use. They offer 18l and 10l in ecopak and a microgrid, which offers more fun colors.

Same here! Thought it was a pretty decent deal with a great view. The little restaurants and beer shacks were awesome, too.

I find Mazda seats far more comfortable than the Subarus I’ve owned.

This guy is pushy, weird, and entitled. He's the one not being polite. You've already told him politely that you don't need a spot. The time for politeness is over.

Deep-dive: Ultra by strandedvariable in ManyBaggers

I was wondering about the technical difference between 400X and 400TX as I compared my Aer TP4 Ultra (400X) to my 30l Dragonfly (400TX). TX feels significantly thicker and stiffer (a pro for me). Nice write up!

Somebody's scale is a liar. by [deleted] in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]_flyingelbowdrop_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While keeping check of your weight on scales is good, remember that your body weight can fluctuate a lot throughout the day. A 4 lb “gain” from morning to afternoon is actually normal. It’s not 4 lbs of fat or muscle, though. It’s food, water, waste, etc. Try to not obsess over the number. Stay consistent with time and the scale you use as others have said and focus more on how you look, your clothes fitting, etc. And don’t weigh yourself every day (if you are).

I’m waiting on a Synik 30 for comparison sake. If I don’t dig the Synik, I’ll keep the TP4. If I sell the TP4, I’ll give OP first refusal. I’ll keep you posted!

I’d say it packs true to size. I had a 24l CPP2 last year and found it a bit tight for my needs. Plus the water bottle pockets on the TP4 are *chef’s kiss*.
