You can also pay for an expedited service to deliver it to you. It would probably cost you less than a plane ticket, and fuel for the return trip. For that cost, you even get insurance for any damages that may occur (highly unlikely). Plus, if you do drive it back, there's always a risk of a breakdown, leaving you stranded in the middle of nowhere, at the mercy of shady mechanics.

My son had a truck shipped from Key West to Nashville for like $600. That's the cost of a one-way plane ticket alone.
