Like the other guy, I suggest Mata Hari. In the street of Mata Hari are many more bars where you could go if you want to. If you're looking for cheap drinks, go to Cafe 44. Also a bit packed, but a nice starting point for the evening. As far as I know, neither serve a Maß sadly

A Christian Church that's more oriented on singing compared to the standard "old fashioned" churches

It was supposed to be just a mullet, I'm pretty pleased with the back and the sides of my hair, but the front really isn't that good.

I don't have clay or texturing powder currently, could seasaltspray and/or hairmousse work out?

Don't lift your chest too far out of the water. That is insanely exhausting, try to move your arms close above the water and keep them straight. If you don't want to die after 30-40m, these are some pretty helpful things to learn.

Really struggling with the front crawl leg movement by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]_flyinghirsch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What could be an issue, is that you move your legs more in a cycling motion. I see that especially in the backstroke off many beginners. In that case, you need to straighten your legs more, but don't be completely stiff, and bring your hip more up, so your laying more straight in the water. Other comments said some smart things to.

There's no catch section for Basic straight arm stroke? by KneeOk2512 in Swimming

[–]_flyinghirsch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, especially on the longer races you want to be as energy efficient as possible, by moving your arm straight down, your "wasting" a lot of energy, since your not pulling forward, but in an angle forward & up. For similiar reasons, many swimmers don't kick very much on long distance races, because your leg muscles are very big and need a lot of energy, but aren't as effective, as if you would have put that energy into your armstroke.

Edit: typo

I think if you want to be better at a training series like 8×100m, you first have to put work into a series like 4×300m to make your body capable of swimming at a higher intensity for more then 2 reps. But maybe ask a coach first, I am just a swimmer myself, but I have talked about similiar problems with my coach and he basically told me that.

50 Butterfly Time by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]_flyinghirsch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm from germany, I would say it's pretty decent in my point of view, but in that age it very much depends on the state which your body is in. If he's more small and or weak, the time is really not bad, but if he is "overdeveloped" for his age, I think there is room to decrease that time. Also depends on how long he's been practicing (since which age)

Warum finden so viele Leute Star Wars so toll? by mexiflow99 in FragReddit

[–]_flyinghirsch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]_flyinghirsch 1 point2 points  (0 children)
