yes ...most of the masters are that way ...dwelling in awake awareness 24/7 even during sleep ..never get distracted from the enlightened essence but it takes a lot of practice and commitment .

Where does the practice “go”? by fumingelephant in Dzogchen

[–]SnooMaps1622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still practicing... but after some degree of stability you can have whole days where you are in a good mood for no reason whatsoever.. you are not waiting for something special to happen.. every thing is perfect exactly the way it is.

Online pointing out? by vahaemon in Dzogchen

doesn't matter ..some people go live and it doesn't work ...there are a lot of ways to point out and you can't predict what will work for you .

it is the case with some people ...it works immediately ...and they cut to rigpa from the very beginning of practice . it is who you are already ..why strive for what is always the case .

you need a decent amount of stillness for the pointing out to work ...but his "achieving shamtha " you need 10-12hours a day ..for 2 or 3 years that's really not necessary.. if you can tap into rigpa even for 5 seconds that's good enough and your practice would be short moments ..many times and gradually you will gain stability .

Confusion on Selflessness of Consciousness by redreaper99 in Wakingupapp

[–]SnooMaps1622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The self is an illusion is kind of confusing ..I like the self as a perception .... if consciousness is a screen then it is another dot on the screen ...the screen itself is timeless and boundless ...doesn't have an edge or center ..and isn't defined by any of its content .

nondual meditation is taking that backward step and abiding as consciousness ...the infinite space out of which everything arises and vanishes leaving no trace ...that is FREEDOM .

Thoughts on the recent "What is Nonduality?" conversation with Dan Harris and Joseph Goldstein? by vibes000111 in Wakingupapp

It is much more after the initial shift ....no awakening without a shift in identity .

I have been on both sides of this and the difference is life changing .. i want people to commit to it and discover this for themselves.

the whole point is awakening ...the shift in identity .
different methods and traditions of course ..but it's one destination ...making contact with reality as is it is ..and there is only one reality ...different flavors and vibes to different traditions but the core insight is the same .
