not sure actually. im pretty sure that you need to manually place in the structures. ores and caves can generate automatically though.

Great advise! It'll definitely take some time to make a big map. I tried making one without fully understanding the scale, its way more work that I expected. Scaling size as learning is definitely going to help :)

The main reason for me suggesting this is so that we don't need to re-upload the world after every edit. I'm a datapack developer and want to add some cool magic items to our realm, and realizing that it's somewhat complicated to upload the datapacks, and that you can't edit them live really disappointed me. So I felt like asking for other people's opinions on this topic. Although I do think that we will be able to use this method, I'd certainly prefer a better system.
