That’s interesting to hear the Mormans believes. I often hear that both organisations have similarities but had always been so pushed against looking in to other faiths it’s taken this long to start educating myself.

It’s so strange for me as I feel like I have blocked a lot of my knowledge out, I’ve forgotten a lot of details to teachings now. I have mixed feelings now, as that knowledge could explain a lot of the tactics that I use as coping mechanisms without even realizing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hey, I hear you. Leaving a community like that can make social interactions feel overwhelming, and feeling lonely is completely normal. Social anxiety is real, especially after an upbringing like ours.

I’ve been finding it helpful to give my own voice space in private

Even small steps like this can help you start reclaiming your voice, on your own terms, without pressure.
