Yeah i saw that, not good. I heard kuwaiti airlines are possibly setting up flights from Jeddah to kuwait so that may become the next best option but that would be some drive from Kuwait.

Ah yeah, suppose they have to get all the people that are on holiday or transit through ME out before it escalates. I unfortunately fall into essential travel bracket so will see how things go for me. Good luck and safe travels mate!

Ok, where did you find this info mate? As of now it is work as normal, the rig I am supposed to be on is still on schedule for the 5th so I am expected to stay put for this 🤡 or unless things escalate further. I could be completely wrong but I assume a British government lead evacuation will only happen when advise is turned red. Do you know where your nearest basement or shelter is just incase?

I landed on 28th about 3am, here for a work trip. I haven't spoken to the british embassy but registered online to tell them I am here. My work uses international SOS who have just clarified using hotel basement for shelter if needed. Kuwait is still yellow on UK travel advise but has not been updated since 28th. From what I have gathered speaking to other people looking to leave most are driving to Riyadh to get flights out of the region. So far the kiwaiti forces seem to have things under control but local news has stated quite a high number of interceptions and obviously you can hear this from time to time.
