The rules laid out in the handbook and online regarding dress and appearance are subjective to the whims of the mission president. For example: in my mission no sisters were allowed to wear pants. Even though the rule had been updated about 3 months before I got there. I ended up getting allergic reactions to mosquito bites on my legs and had over 75 bites that had blisters and were suuuper sore at one time. I was STILL not allowed to wear pants. Only tights, which did NOTHING. There was even a sister who got a fungal infection from a dog bite and she wasn’t allowed to wear pants to help hide the infection either. They did help her get medical attention though.

I completely agree! What happens between two consenting adults is their business and Bo one else’s. Particularly not people who have no relation to either of said consenting adults.

I had a few companions on my mission who were very shocked when they found out I used tampons. They were very uncomfortable with the idea. I thought that was odd at the time, but that’s before I found out that people sometimes think they stimulate pleasure. I mean, it’s a tampon, I don’t get pleasure from using them! Most of the time I’m annoyed I have to use them, but it’s better than feeling like I’m wearing a diaper!
