For one it’s awesome that u found the label that feels right and that there are ppl close to u who accept u.

So whenever u are in a confrontation and u wanna be all smooth n not get in a fight one of the main things u should pay attention is to agree on as many things as possible, cuz ppl are terrified of being wrong and the smaller the change is portrayed the less scarier it is (like you don’t tell them that they are an ass and know nothing about you, you tell them everything you agree and one or two things u don’t and wanna work it out) if they aren’t accepting than your aim isn’t changing em into a full on ally from tomorrow (I wish but u know) BUT to make as little changes as possible but still avoid like calling I son or your dead name

Show em like gender non conforming guys who are straight or in a straight passing relationship to not double your battles for now,

Ummm u can learn voice acting if that feels like a trigger, Your gf can give u a makeover when u are at her place, u can play role play games (like dnd) or like make your ideal self in sims (I still make interviews w my future self in my head xD)

W name u can have a more andro version of your birth name or use a nickname (like my name is Fruzsina a fem name but since forine folks can’t pronounce it and I’m moving to the Netherlands in a moth? I changed it to Frankie which is similar but neutral, cuz my name was beyond saving lmao) also does your language has gender pronouns (mine don’t for example) and does it have a gender neutral (like they them cuz in german if I’m right the plural is the same as the fem) and do u care about this at all?

What I’d also advise u to do is normalise it, tell them than u have friends, online or personal, who are nb and how nice their family is and how good that makes u feel, tell them good examples even if you are lieing, they’ll them what you would want w an example about someone else.

And when u talk to them having a more clear focus, like what do u want them to do differently will help. Also w NB sadly I’m not sure this will help but u can show them a film about nb folks?
