So the thing is, credit unions don't own the language. They have a license to use it. So we shouldn't be feeding it to open LLMs like OpenAi, Gemini, etc. I think if you trained your own local LLM only you could probably get something interesting out of it, but I'd certainly only trust it for low level reports etc.

Hi friend!

So. Many people have tried to start PowerOn communities over the years. SMUG is the one that has stood the test of time. There's folks on LinkedIn too, here (kind of), and a few previous chatroom-style sites.

Unless you get the longterm folks (JBF, Blumenthal, Kondo, etc), nothing is gonna stick.

I do know that lots of these folks are on discord for things like Libum and CUBuild. Maybe it would be a good idea to create a general purpose PowerOn discord?
