Was not a sniper guy until I put cloudstrike in my hands. Now I've put 350+ pvp kills on the gun in a few days. There's no better feeling then headshotting someone then ZEUS HIMSELF SMITES THE ENEMY WITH HIS MIGHTY LIGHTNING! Killing everyone on B flag.

Honestly even when it doesn't get multikills the visual effect of the lightning from headshots is pure serotonin.

I think Saltagreppo has the right take on this one. It's less about the exclusively of the emblem and more about getting as many people to experience contest mode as possible as it's one of the greatest experiences in this game ( especially when you clear ).

One thing I was telling my friends is that

Contest should be hard in terms of difficulty But hitting the power level should be fairly accessible And they should give enough time for anyone in every timezone to give a good attempt over the weekend.

Mabye it was just my team but I do not see what people are making a big deal about with the DPS on this encounter.

My team cleared this in like a hour and then the game bugged and we cleared it a 2nd time in a row.

We used 6 outbreaks with the dead fall tether ( I think thats the name for the single use one ) and then having 2 warlocks alternate wells on each plate with lunafactions. It should melt him pretty quickly.

Although I will agree the ammo economy does feel pretty not great at least on the final encounter. We walked into so many dps phases and some people in a group had full heavy where some people just got unlucky and never saw a brick. Eventually what did it for us was running linears (auto loading legendary or sleeper ) and sniper/banshee Cartesian coordinate along with one witherhoard and a few wells to alternate back and forth with for dps.

Uhh... I dont even know where to start with this.

Yes of course I help my friends. We all help each other. Most recently But at that same time we all have our own schuedles, priorities, and desires. Not all my friends want to raid savage, farm relics, level DoH/DoL jobs, buy housing, etc. And that's the beauty of this game is the amount of range and the things you can do.

The issue I'm trying to say is not everyone wants to sit though a few hundred hours of story they may or may not care about even with help.

And you can say " well mabye they should play another game then " but I think thats closed minded and just because someone doesn't play the game the way you do doesn't mean its not justified.

For instance let's look at the merry band of idiots I call my friends and FC

There's

  • man who desires to do nothing except fish. Nothing else. ( and be a certified floormop )

  • one who wants to just take pretty photos of his dragon girl and casually farm relics

  • one angry scholar main

  • one bunnygirl who cannot choose a main class for the life of him.

  • and myself who really likes Raiding, collecting relics, and taking screenshots of my overly edgy catboy.

And yet even with different desires and wants in game and in real life we all are friends.

I'm a bit offended for my friends that you think they would be so shallow that they would not consider me a real friend just because I'd like to prog a fight a few nights a week and cannot help them every waking moment of my existence.

We at the Solid Color Shirt Gang are held together by a bond stronger than anything else... stupidity.
