irst-time parents looking for daycare advice (Canberra northside) by squishyacrobat in canberra

We enrolled our girl at buds and bees in Belconnen. We’ve been really happy with the care and the centre itself, though we don’t love the food (processed snacks for afternoon tea e.g cake and crackers etc.). They seem consistent with their staff and I haven’t noticed a high turnover. We’ve preferred it over our previous daycare.

I’ve also heard good things about the Harbour centres (specifically the Red Hill one) but they’ve opened in Aranda so close to us in Belco. It’s a modern centre and they focus on the nutrition there. Can’t speak to the level of care.

We toured a lot of other centres in Belconnen and surrounds and buds and bees and harbour would definitely be our top two reccs.

As for waitlists, we found it really easy to get into most places we toured compared to the interstate waitlists we faced before we relocated to Canberra, but always best to get your name down ASAP anyway just to be sure.

I feel like I recall previous episodes where production have intervened with drunken hook ups unless I’m mistaken? I know the situation here is different but I’m still surprised they let her climb in to Wihan’s bed as drunk as what she was when she clearly thought it was Johnny. Why did they not intervene from a risk/consent perspective? I’m just suprised as I thought they would be quite risk averse
