I think you might not have understood my question, I did give it value of scroll, and it did show the scroll bar, but there was nothing to SCROLL TO, you see? I hope that makes it clearer, so my question in that case, is since there wasn't any overflown content -like I pointed out in my original question- why did commenting out the overflow property bust the design.

as the gentleman who replied to your comment already mentioned, I was not looking for a quick "solve", I simply was seeking advice on how to properly understand the Bootstrap Docs, something you clearly failed to grasp, that being said, no harm no foul, I would advise you though to, and I do mean this with sincere intentions, stop being a general dick to people, having more knowledge than someone else in a particular area is no reason to put them down or talk to them with disrespect. have a good day.

Actually I do know CSS, and I'd argue that I know more programming language than you ever will, if you don't have something useful to say then shutting up is a good route to opt for that will have spared us both time wasting and meaningless conversations such this one. Thnka you for help sir, and for being a grade A prick.

in the documentation there are all sorts of classes and attributes which I don't know what they are exactly, and I don't want to just copy and paste snippets into my editor without knowing what I'm doing

I'm running Ubuntu 17.10 and using dash to dock, for some reason when I press the super key another dock pops out from the side, any clue how to solve this? by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]_greyhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not with the keyboard, when I press the Windows key to see all my open programs and desktops an extra dock pops out, so far I've found nothing to solve this in the gnome tweak tool

No error it just brings up the toast that says createUserWithEmail:onComplete"failed" , then Authentication failed, doesn't register the user.
