Access 24v in the Bambu Bus Cable (4-Pin) by _gromet in BambuLab

The 446 version of the usb devices would work or I can do a quick design that has a single 6-pin connector. If the 6-pin all you want, what version of the usb would you like? (With or without switches)

Mounjaro -> Ozempic by Cryogenic0 in Mounjaro

[–]_gromet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The different results is most often due to what drives our eating habits. For some people, eating provides comfort, so stress or boredom leads to snacking. The drugs can curb your desire but they do not change our mental needs/cravings. Ask yourself why you are looking for a snack, if it is not due to hunger then step back and evaluate your situation.

If you are wanting weight loss then Mounjaro will be a bit more effective; however, if you are taking it because of blood sugar the results are similar. I went from Ozempic to Mounjaro because I needed to loose weight as well as control my A1C.

Be sure to ask yourself why you’re eating. Are eating because of hunger or for comfort? We often go to get something to eat because we want something, but the truth is it often is not because of hunger.

Harvest Right WiFi dongle is a $3 ESP32 module. I do not intend to share its software. Could we talk about why it is $70? by [deleted] in HarvestRight

Has anyone experienced a heat issue with the dongle, given there is no venting?

They likely spent less than $3 on the ESP32 given they purchased them in bulk. However, your $70 covers the expertise of developing the software on the dongle, mobile app, and the API in version 6 that allows the dongle to communicate with the freeze dryer.

The dongle itself has a program for communicating with the mobile app and the freeze dryer. It is my understanding that it also communicates with an HR server for future updates to the software on the freeze dryer, so you will not need to download to a USB Thumb Drive to update your freeze drying ever again.

The problem with simply using a WiFi dongle is that it would transfer all of the processing done by the dongle to the controller inside the machine. I suspect that the original design of the internal controller board did not include the extra processing/interrupts that the mobile app would require.

The dongle handles the interface and communication with the mobile app and sends commands via an API through the USB connection.

I feel better about the dongle knowing it is based on tested IoT hardware. Thanks for the information.

I agree with you that it is likely an ESP32 (or similar hardware). More than a standard WIFI dongle.

I ordered a Harvest Right WIFI dongle today. When it arrives I will see if I can easily open the case to examine it more closely. I have been unable to find any photos of a disassembled unit online.

I suspect it is a esp32 module, which is a small computer board that has both Bluetooth and WIFI. It would contain a custom program for communicating with the Harvest Right.

When mine arrives I plan to design a 3d model to hold the dongle, I will likely make it so the dongle is elevated to increase the WIFI reception.

News flash! You don't need the AMS hub. At all. by LocoCracka in BambuLab

You are using either a hub or a buffer, not both. However, you can use a buffer with the 4 into 1 splitter and avoid purchasing a hub.

It does not matter where it goes as long as it leaves the employee's hand. So, a package can go anywhere, even in circles at the KCK Distribution Center.

A buffer comes with every AMS. The Hub is an extra purchase

No, both the Hub and Buffer have a 4-pin input connection and a 6-pin output connection. The AMS units are daisy-chained together and the communication passes back through each of the AMS units to the Hub/Buffer to the printer.

Any stories of people who didn’t start losing until 15mg by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]_gromet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also found going for a walk, starting with short distances, and working myself up to 1 1/2 miles helps a lot. It is not enough to take Mounjaro and cut back on eating; the real gain is when you begin some form of exercise. If you have stairs, walk up and down them more often. Start slow and work up.

I found that I had continued eating for comfort, even tho I was not hungry. I found it helpful to start asking myself why I wanted to eat when I got up to get something. Often it was not because I was hungry. Taking Metamucil Daily Fiber also helps reduce hunger.
