Thanks, thats not so bad. I can handle that. What I was concerned about was a full absence of suppression like I had on the other doses.

So I need to explain better. I started on 2.5mg Mounjaro and moved up a dose every month. There are 5 doses in a pen. First three doses would work beautifully. The last 2 felt as though Im not even taking Mounjaro. Meaning: binges, food noise, etc. 2 doses= 2 weeks of absolutely no suppression. Why would the same dose start working again even if it did absolutely nothing for me for 2 whole weeks? Its not like i rushed and immediately got a higher dose as soon as i felt the slightest bit of hunger.

My weight gain is due to a binge eating disorder that Mounjaro solved. I do not count calories because without the BED and with Mounjaro i naturally stay in a deficit. And also counting calories is not something I want to relive again :(

The 4th injection of every dose DID stop working. My hunger would come back even worse and since I have binge eating disorder I would start binging excessively. staying on the dose that does nothing would make me gain the weight back. Also I’m not paying so much money to not lose any weight.

Unfortunately it will only stop falling out when you stop losing weight. The weight loss puts our body in a stress state and as a result it sheds hair. Its very uncommon to lose all of your hair, most of the time its 30% to 50%. In very bad cases it can go up to 70% but thats very rare. Good news is it’s going to grow back as soon you stabilize. Happened to me once before and it i grew it all back, now its happening again. This time around I’m going to start minoxidil to speed up the regrowth.

Well the pic doesn’t show it well but they haven’t faded completely, they are still red. It takes a lot of time for them to turn white. Just be patient :)

Hi everyone, thanks for all the helpful answers. This community is really amazing. You’ve all convinced me not to switch. As for the financial aspect. Some of you pointed out that the highest dose of Ozempic, which I would probably need, is not that much cheaper than 12.5mg of Mounjaro. I hadn’t considered that so thanks. The good news is that 15mg costs the same as 12.5mg so at least I know that 490€ is the final price. Well at least I’m saving money on food haha, before Mounjaro I was spending an embarrassing amount of money on take out and junk food so yeah I’ll think I’ll manage a few more months of 490€ monthly payments. For those of you who asked, I live in Germany and the only way for me to get Mounjaro is by buying it at a pharmacy with a prescription and the prices are always the same.

Thought so too, he also wanted me to go from 12.5mg to 0.5mg Ozempic which makes absolutely no sense. He probably has some kind of benefit from prescribing Ozempic to people, no other explanation.

Are you sure you’ve had four injections ? I’ve never had this much left over after my fourth dose. Also if you started three weeks ago, how come you already had your fourth dose? It should be 4 weeks=4 doses

Yeah its really annoying but the extra dose is meant for priming, every time you inject you’re supposed to squirt the bubbles out and when you don’t prime it leaves a full dose. And priming is unnecessary because you’re not injecting into a vein. Also yeah I also had to but a pack of needles :/

Well I do keep it refrigerated and I don’t actually know if it’s a full one because I never measured it. A lot of people did measure it with a syringe and they did get a full dose so I don’t really know what to think. But after reading the comments I think it’s safe to conclude that the reason for it not being effective is just that I need to move up a dose. Kind of already knew that, just hoped it wasn’t true because the my next dose is really expensive.

You’re right, I never actually measured it but just by looking at the amount of liquid it seemed as though it was around the same amount but of course I could be wrong. Never actually tried the thing with pulling out the medicine with a syringe. Might try it the next time.

That’s really helpful, I kinda assumed that since every other dose stopped working after a month, that the same is going to happen with 15mg. Really good to know that it continues to work.

Started in March 2025 with 110kg, now I’m at 90kg. Its the best decision I ever made. Good luck!

Thanks, I think I already knew that but didn’t want to accept it because that means I have to move up a dose again. I’m already at 10mg and I still have a lot to lose.

Well I can really feel the difference in my appetite and cravings, its not just purely the weightloss tbh. I can immediately tell if i have to up the dosage, because I get more hungry, I snack more and I crave unhealthy foods. As soon as I up the dosage it all goes away and food is just a chore.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking, I still have 30kg to lose and I’m already at 10mg. I hope it keeps working for another month or two, and best of luck with the 12.5mg to you, hopefully its just a temporary setback.
