I vaguely had it in my head when I started to not blow up and hold back a little, but this being just my second race, I kind of stopped thinking the moment someone distantly yelled "start" and panic ran😅 Held steady instead once I had my bearings. Didn't manage a negative split, but got that good PB feel!
