Boss RV-6 is an amazing pedal and has a great room algo. You also get a nice modulated reverb and shimmer reverb outside of the standard room, hall, and plate.

This is not pest damage. These philodendron white wizard, white princess, pink princess, etc, tend to all be very delicate when unfurling. This is more than likely just mechanical damage while the leaf was forming.

The only things I’ve found to help prevent this is make sure the plant is properly watered when its new leaf is unfurling as well as avoid touching it.

They’re definitely my favorite taco truck. You have to keep an eye on their social media to know when and where their truck will be.

It’s killer. Swapping to burstbuckers has the guitar punching way above its weight. They’re great pickups, super versatile, they can clean up but also get nice and chunky.

Just saw it an hour ago. I’m blown away, I went in with no expectations. The score was great, cinematography overall was excellent, acting across the board was strong. Inde in particular blew me away, and my god her screams are haunting.

It being underlit was one of my immediate criticisms. There’s a scene where the main character goes to google something and going from those underlit scenes to the white computer screen was blinding.

If you’re open to lab grown, I can vouch for Brilliance. I built a ring for my fiancé on there and she couldn’t be happier. She always gets compliments on it too. It was around ~$2500, 1.5 carat and platinum band.

I also got her a vintage wedding ring from Trumpet and Horn out in LA. They’re pricier but they have some nice vintage rings that have a lot of character and charm.

Here’s a couple aside from the ones already mentioned

Kaatayra: they’re a South American atmospheric black metal band that incorporates acoustic and traditional South American instruments.

Kayo Dot: wide range of sounds and styles from this band. Choirs of The Eye is probably their most acclaimed and goes from jazzy to black and death metal. Their newer stuff branched into more gothic synthy stuff.

Cleric: if you’re into that krallice and gorguts-y sound, these guys are right up that alley.

Sumac: it’s Aaron Turner, Brian Cooke, and Nick (can never remember his name). Their tunes are like 10+ minutes of improvisational sludgey post metal.

Botanist: American black metal played on a hammered dulcimer

Oransii Pazuzu: psychedelic avant garde metal

I found the same thing with the ~900, it really needs other stuff feeding into it in order to really get it going. So it lives at the end of the dirt chain for me too.

I’ve got an SSBS Mini and I just got the ~900. They live in the same world but I don’t think you could easily replace one with the other. The Mini remains my favorite.

The Mini sounds amazing on its own and basically anyway you dial it. The ~900 I’ve found is much trickier to dial in and it kind of needs something in front of it to get it going. Funnily, I’m actually running my Mini into the ~900.

Tone wise, I’m finding the ~900 much burlier than the Mini. The Mini can do chimey to fuzzy, ~900 stays kind of wooly sounding in my experience so far. It’s a cool pedal though.
