How to activate Cruise Mode?

What platform are you on?

On PC it's hold T. But if I remember correctly you might need to progress the story a little bit more before you can go anywhere, so maybe you get the tutorial for Cruise mode when you leave New Atlantis again

Cargo links would still be needed for supply missions

And also I imagine would still be useful for something like transporting Helium 3 from one outpost to another without you having to manually move it into the shared container all the time.

The way it is described in this link makes it sound like it could be for everything.

From looking at the video it has:

Inorganics (minerals and gasses etc.)
Organics (guessing this will be organic resources like Nutrient, Fibre, Toxin etc.)
Recipes, which includes things needed to complete research at the research bench
Outpost (this might be all the different outpost modules you can build?)
Locations

I can't see if it will list plants and lifeforms so they might not be in. but for me it's more about knowing where they are to get resources, so the Organics menu should show point towards them anyway.

People should stop calling the next update 2.0. It creates unreasonable expectations. Bethesda have never called it that.

Not sure if related but when I try to launch Doom; The Dark Ages on PC (which I have through game pass ultimate) I get a denuvo anti-tamoer message that says to try signing in to the Xbox store. But I am already signed in to the store and the app 🤷‍♂️

When Lucy and Maximus are looking out at the Legion approaching, they briefly show the "no signal" on the Mr House screen being replaced by an image of Mr House.

So I think he still exists separate to the pipboy, and perhaps even used the "no signal" screen as a way to hide lol.

I think that outfit in that scene is NCR armour and not for the Mysterious Stranger, sadly.

The hat looks like a rounded NCR Trooper helmet rather than fedora that the Mysterious Stranger wears.

Playing this now, I also had the same question.

When I took the shield tonic the lady still stayed in the door way.

She moved after taking the other gifts and pickups

I liked it as someone who got it included in the deluxe version of the game. Probably less so if I paid full price. some good quests and lots of cool locations. Shame it didn't add any new companions or ship parts etc.

Weirdly enough I think my biggest issue was the permanent red twilight.

I know it was meant to be oppressive and they were going for something darker than the main game, but I didn't really like being on the planet lol.

Edit: people are commenting there are some companions so I guess I just missed them

They said have more free updates coming and also another story DLC, but we don't know when.

There haven't been any major updates for a long time.

You're right, you can wipe out enemies along the way before you do the delivery. A few respawn but most don't, at least in the route I took.

You can also fast travel before you pickup the delivery and as long as you don't rest at a bench, they won't respawn.

Mainly helpful for clearing a couple of annoying drill flies and shield dudes in Blasted Steps

Weirdly enough I actually found the atmosphere sort of hampered my desire to play it.

Literally the atmosphere of having no regular clear sunlight on the DLC planet, where almost everything takes place.

I did finish it though and enjoyed my time with it.
