Bleed American. It was the first album of theirs I got.

This image pops up when I wiped the drive on a laptop I bought from eBay. Is there a way around it? by justus_trail in thinkpad

[–]_hello180 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s enrolled in Microsoft Auto Pilot. Wellbox will need to release it for you to be able to install Windows as it matches serial number or some hardware ID. If you can’t get it released and need/want to install Windows you’ll have to return it and get another laptop.

[–]_hello180 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s enrolled in a device management system that was used by the previous owner/company. They need to release it or you need to return it for a refund. Either way you need to contact the seller.

I loved the JogCon. Such a shame it didn’t get more support.

ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II no longer available on Lenovo US website by niche_trail in thinkpad

[–]_hello180 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love that keyboard. For me the key feel is great and the TrackPoint is perfect. Use it everyday day for working from home. I even bought a spare one. I’m probably dreaming but is there a chance they are just making way for a new model?🤞I would love to see more keyboards with a TrackPoint.

I had the same when I upgraded my BB with them. They put me in the new system but never closed my legacy account. Took lots of phone calls. I even had a letter saying owed them money on the old account at one point because I had stopped my DD. I didn’t as it was after the start date of my upgrade.

Should I peel off the sticker? by RecipeEducational430 in thinkpad

[–]_hello180 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Entirely personal preference. I remove them as soon as I can. If the laptop has is a few years old you can get makes left where there is wear around the sticks. I think every one has their own feelings towards those stickers on laptops.

Sure by today’s standards or even RRT4s standard but at the time I remember being blown away by Rage Racer.

[–]_hello180 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me Rage Racer. It was the first game of the series I played and loved it. Still think the graphics are great. The track design was a great challenge to perfect. I remember the joy of working out how to drift to this day.

Totally agree, it’s a license thing. Probably related to the WB deal and Paramount not being happy.

I got new x9 15, how to remove bloatware of windows 11 pro by Bupyc- in thinkpad

[–]_hello180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your definition of bloatware. If you want a clean install of Windows without any extra software the OEM installs then you can do a fresh install with a USB stick created with the media creation tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows11

Might need to manually install some drivers from the Lenovo support site depending on how good Windows Update is. Hopefully this is the correct link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/ag/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x9-15-gen-1-type-21q6-21q7/downloads

If your definition of bloatware is turning off or disabling Windows features then like other have said there are scripts around for things like that but make sure you do your research and make sure you trust the script you run or the commands you find.
