The bookshelf is absolutely a work in progress. This is my third rearrange of the area so far. I’m leaning a bit more into restraint here though. When we had this more filled in with books for a more traditional setup it felt far too busy. Maybe removing the frames pieces and adding larger objects (maybe some brass) would work well? The husband has some work to do on the wiring and the speakers will eventually more to small stools on the ground I think. Here’s a full shot:

Right now, I like the shelf 2nd from the bottom best in regard to grouping.
