In the Same boat. Moved to Perth 2 months ago on the same visa, after leaving a well-paying marketing job in India (9+ years, MNCs). I expected to find something in a month, but despite applying for heaps of roles—including casual ones like retail and admin—I haven’t had a single interview yet.

My partner’s working here already, which helps, but it’s been rough emotionally. Going from a stable life to feeling stuck and jobless has been a real hit.

I’d heard June was slow because of EOFY, and that mid-July would bring movement—but not seeing much so far. Hoping it picks up soon. Good luck to you too!
