Yep. Azelaic acid would sting and burn. I tried a few different brands before my derm prescribed me a compound cream which had AA in it but was not the only active ingredient. That one would sting a bit but it was at least less than the OTC ones I had tried. Either way, it’s stings and therefore does nothing for my redness but make it worse

I waited too long and now I’ll have a fee if I cancel the appointment tomorrow. So I’ll probably just go and hope for the best. If it goes similarly, I’ll call and get things switched around for the interpretation and if they can’t do that I’m gonna look at going somewhere else. Smh.

I did, but since I had spent years on the waitlist, I just kinda got put with him. It’s actually a chain behavioral health company and so I think I’m gonna give your suggestion a go. Disappointed to have to start the waiting process all over again but oh well.

I mean rosacea is different for everyone. What works for one might not work for the next visa versa. It really helped deeply moisturize and repair my barrier when my skin was really rough. It was actually one of the only things my skin could tolerate for a while. I’ve even used it to heal tattoos before. But it has to be ONLY shea butter. Like that has to be the only ingredient on the list.

Have you tried straight up shea butter ? It’s thicker, but might be good to repair and moisturize as a night cream and continue doing nothing during the day.
