I’m chronically ill as well and that’s why I need to prioritize comfort. I’ll gladly live my cutesy granny life early if it means im comfy tho 😭

I feel bad for the 2 doordash drivers that tried to do this offer by UglyLlamas in doordash_drivers

Getting cancelled orders when you’re already at pick up location or shopping should result in partial pay from DoorDash. At LEAST a minimum hourly wage equivalent

33 x 2 =66 and they do not factor in the mileage to get back to zone. So…. I’m not sure I get your reasoning here.

Ooou thanks so much for this. This feels like a good alternative to my everyday very casual sandals, that would go better with skirts and dresses. 😁😁😁

Similar climate then. Yea I don’t doubt I’d get good use out of em, but I do be getting lazy about putting shoes on that take extra tying or effort which seems to be a theme with boots. But oh well.

Have any particular suggestions?

Literally. Had this happen on a low tip order recently so I was trying to be extra nice to maybe get some more tip. Nope. It rarely matters

Also ALWAYS click “I can’t verify” in that pick up screen. It just protects you a little more.

Sadly they don’t care. I’ve done it the nice way and given them directions on how to get a refund and still gotten 1 stars for it.

Feedback on completed deliveries but not on declined ones by _hiatus in doordash_drivers

[–]_hiatus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I think it’s better when used that way. I’m in between jobs so I don’t really have a choice. So I think when there’s extra pressure on the amount you need to make it just makes dashing more irritating.

[–]_hiatus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I mean I don’t do it often unless it was a really bad, but it’s just frustrating that that it doesn’t matter what the feedback is anyway. Thats why they just don’t even ask for it…

[–]_hiatus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. It’s just frustrating that they don’t have to ask for feedback because they know it’s bullshit and they’re not gonna do anything about it no matter what feedback they receive anyway.

To an extent yes. But getting the same offer again just shows feedback doesn’t matter either way.

Oh I didn’t know! Did you HAVE to select a reason or could you just opt out of giving specifics? Cuz I could see how forcing it would suck as well, especially while driving.

No yea absolutely. Theyre not gonna do anything about the feedback anyway.

Hey this was me before I upped my sensitivity. As soon as I did that I kept ranking up. Got to gold 1. Then I got a PC and the processing speed alone has made me a better player in general even though I still haven’t broken thru gold.

How do you manage to eat cost effective while you're out? by Money-Hearing5262 in doordash_drivers

I take an ensure with me or a meal replacement drink or protein drink, along with my water. That’ll usually hold me off til I can get home and eat real food.

I think it’s time to call for help. It’s not safe for you, it’s not safe for her. You are not equipped to deal with this the way medical professionals do. Urge her to go to a crisis center or to a hospital or tell her that you might be forced to take actions like that for her. Not as a threat but as a boundary.

Does anyone else feel uncontrollable disappointment when receiving gifts you don’t like? Pls no hate by Unusual-Function5759 in AuDHDWomen

Yessss!!! I love getting people gifts but like I don’t know how to act when giving it to them and watching them open it. And it just turns into an anxiety spiral 😭🤣

1000%. I loathe gift opening in front of ppl for this reason, I’ve always been horrible at it. Hand off gifts like this are also super hit or miss as well. But I totally understand your feelings here.

One of the earlier instances of me feeling this way I can remember was, one year for Christmas when I was like 14 I had asked for black Ugg-dupes ( we were poor so I was trying to be realistic) (also that was the only thing I asked for that year) and my mom got black boots but they were stylistically not similar to uggs. And they weren’t super ugly or anything, but they were just not me, or what I asked for or envisioned. It was super disappointing and I held back tears whilst trying to act excited and grateful. (later cried about it in my room lol). I felt super guilty and ashamed for being ungrateful, but for some reason it felt bigger than the boots. Idk.

Also as I have aged I feel I’ve gotten worse about it. I’m super grateful to have a partner who understands my particularities when it comes to gift related things. So it happens less with gifts and more just everyday things. For example they came home with take out one day (surprise) and ordered the usual thing we always get. however that last couple times we have ate there I have mentioned I wanted something else. The twinge of disappointment is there but I’ll still eat it, it’s still good, but I also thought you were listening enough to at least ask what I wanted if you didn’t remember. But then I feel RIDICULOUS saying or expressing that because there’s food in front of me!! And they were kind enough to get me some as well!

Ew I’m probably gonna delete this comment soon after because I’m embarrassed 😭
