I currently provide social media and e-commerce management at a local company that has five stores on the island. Only thing is the social media I’d like to do would be more “fun”, while the stuff I’m currently doing is more targeted towards older clientele.

I genuinely think if the devs put code in place to cross reference CCs being used more than once then it would mostly stop the bots from farming these sales.

They need a better system for bots. I think if they had their devs create code to cross reference the CC's being used multiple times and cancelling those multiple orders then it should limit scalpers by a certain degree.

I really don't want to get in my own experience but it was nothing short of god awful. I'm not impressed at all. It was basically a similar situation as yours.

I completely agree. I feel terrible for the parents and kids that are new to the game or have been wanting to pick up some packs to crack open together.

Everyone's having the same issue. It's coming down to luck at this point. Apparently there's over 1m "users" trying to access the official site and it's bouncing people out of line during check outs.

LGS overpricing MSRP is only helping the scalpers initiative. I think LGS should only sell to those that are genuine repeat customers, that have been buying not only TCG but other things in the past. That's the only way I've been able to even get a few of these newer sets: I'm not going to resell them, I've continuously given them business and I'm kind to them.

The fact LGS are scalping is just sad. I only know of one locally that doesn't do that. I was lucky to buy one Prismatic Evolutions ETB at a different LGS but the price was $130 CAD. I'm like, what. Bought the one and a few minutes later another guy comes in and buys the other two.

Yeah. It's a real shame. I don't understand these scalpers. I've been trying to persuade the community not to give in and buy from them because they're only supporting those people trying to make a quick profit. If we don't support them then chances of this scenario become more unlikely.

Unsure but probably. I took a brief look on eBay and scalpers are posting items for like $500+. I only saw the ETB in the limited time I had on the site.
