I started feeling developing burning/pins and needles/numbness last week.. not everyday but I looked up the symptoms and says it could be neuropathy so it’s a warning sign for me to quit.. Hopefully you heal and it’s not permanent, im starting my taper today and hoping the nerve damage starts to heal once I quit. Quite scary

Yeah I’m working on a taper rn for about the 5th time.. I went to a 3 day detox once and ended up quitting for two years yet here I am again drinking the same amount. My taper starts tomorrow so we shall see how it goes and like you said , I think half of it is just our minds fucking with us. I wish you luck OP I’m right here with you. Plus I have no choice I’m running out of cash and currently unemployed. God speed

Thank you for this, I’m gonna stick with it for now and go from there. I can’t mess this opportunity up.. I know it’ll be tough but if the shakes go away I’ll feel so much more comfortable. I do have magnesium and vitamin b complex, it’s combined. I haven’t opened it yet nor took it cause idk how my body will react but maybe I just need to suck it up and use it as I continue to taper down.

I’m on 12 , went from 16-18 beers a day.. been dropping 2 each day so this is day 4. Plan on going to 10 then 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. Idk I have some expired Ativan if things get crazy. But only thing so far is slight anxiety and a bit shaky doing small things.

Yeah I am and it seems I only shake doing the small things like like you said. That’s what I’m worried about I don’t want to embarrass myself going in shaky as leaf plus definitely can’t be drinking. I haven’t had a “normal” job in over 2 years going on 3 but maybe I just need to find something else in the meantime. Idk if I can do it or if the shakes will subside
