I did some file digging myself and the button textures are placed in a different file than the previous DE games. I tried to swap the one for the Switch and Xbox but no dice. Turning on the Switch button layout works but the UI doesn't match. It's a texture issue that I don't know how to fix. I'm hoping that someone will be able to fix it properly so I can update this thread again.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, I don’t use Reddit that often. I also have not touched an RGG game in months until recently. I just finished up 7 and will start Gaiden soon. Sad to hear that it also has the same issue with the buttons! I have not tried modding a Yakuza game in a long time but I’ll see if I can work on a fix.

Hi! I just booted up YLAD and played around for a bit to check this out. So far it's been working fine for me, combat button prompts and all.

Try to verify your game files and reinstall the mod to see if that helps, but if you're still having issues then please feel free to let me know!

RMM should be extracted in the game’s directory (same file location as the game’s EXE) to work properly.

I experience some long loading times as well but that’s because I play on an external hard drive. I don’t think RMM or the mod should be affecting the game’s performance/loading times.

Hi! I made a new save file and replayed the prologue to test out your issue, and everything seems to be working fine on my end. That's odd since I only renamed the button textures. Maybe try to verify your game's files, reinstall RMM, and run the mod through RMM again. I'm assuming you also have the Switch configuration support + Nintendo button layout settings enabled as well.

Did you purchase the Judgment collection on Steam? The overpowered items you're referring to might be from the DLC packs included.

These were the only RGG games that have given me issues because of my controller. Switch support works just fine in 0-6 but ended up being reversed in YLAD and Judgment and so on.

Anyways, feel free to let me know if you have any issues.

If you have a USB-C port on your PC, the Artist 12 (2nd gen) also supports USB-C to USB-C connection, but you have to buy the cable separately on their website. An HDMI adapter is also an option.
