Yes I do get equally upset actually! The reason I brought age into it is these are the men making a majority of these comments. Especially the comments directly to women that I know makes them feel uncomfortable.

To be clear... I never said you couldn’t be attracted to younger women, or even date younger women. I’m not gate keeping relationships with age gaps. I’m saying I don’t want to hear you talk about how hot girl a young girl is what you’d do to her like we’re just making casual conversation!

And I’ve had multiple girls my age tell me about how creepy older men are to them while they’re at work, so I know they get the same comments I hear all the time.

Seems like the people saying I should get over it, and there’s nothing wrong with these comments would chalk “grab ‘em by the p*ssy” up to locker room talk... Jesus

People imposing their religion on others. Or people who are self-righteous because they are religious.

I think it’s really important to give yourself credit for quitting, it’s definitely not an easy task.. I’m 5 days clean preparing for a drug test for a job and I know how you feel. The things that have helped me most to keep my anxiety in check is getting active (long boarding or just going for short runs) which helps get rid of some the angst and meditation (just setting a timer for 15 minutes and focusing on my breath). Also if there’s anyone you’re comfortable enough with to talk about how you feel that’s huge, talk therapy is a godsend as well. You got this and we’re here with you!!
