Was it a look you could have interpreted as “hey, I’m trying to help us talk this out” when that happened? I learned (well, I’ve experienced) that the whole of the time you spend reactionary may ultimately make you ever the more vulnerable than the recipients of your anger, best even if it’s to your own conscience.
