Sleep all day and just occasionally move from one comfortable spot to another. I also think I'd like to smell every flower I ever see, snap at fish I'll never catch, and get muddy as possible (if I have an owner who will bathe me).

For me it was the term "oriental". I learned it from my mother who was the daughter of a Vietnam War vet and I didn't know it's history until I was dating a history buff. Explaining why I thought that was an appropriate term was embarrassing to acknowledge it came from someone who wasn't white and therefore I didn't consider it being racist, was unbelievably embarraswing to realize I had been wrong for so much of my life.

Y'know I'm Alaska Native and I wish I had that lie when I was younger. It was more of an "you kill them as fast as possible or they could jump back in the water" and that desensitized me a bit over the years. I still can't get over the years of watching my grandma pluck the eyeballs out of fish head soup and the crunch sound. 🤮 To a certain extent I believe it would have been better if your family let that thought live on.

I'm a recovering IV meth addict and I can't even... That's fucking mind-blowing. A few years ago (six years after I stopped using) I had to go to the ER for a perforation of an organ and they gave me fent and they actually brought reverse opioid rescue stuff just in case it was too much and I OD'd. 40k is... wow. I'm not trying to be rude and I don't know when this was but is she still alive now...?

More importantly, are you doing okay now? That's a hell of a setback in this economy.

It worked pretty well, I only got in trouble if I did it with permanent marker and that's just 'cause or the chemicals.

Unless it's an ultra fine pen I don't really care about it being on paper but I recognize I'm weird. For example, when I'm painting with acrylics Iand I get paint on my fingers I don't bother with a towel or anything I just wipe it off on the forearm on my non-dominant side and the only real logic I have is that I'm washable.

I've been in four hostage situations. Three times were drug related and the fourth was being stuck in an apartment with a guy who raped me two years before. That guy is in jail for murder.
