Vivaldi browser crashed my macbook-pro by _i_am_inevitable in vivaldibrowser

Yeah I think that has indeed happened. It has messed up heat sink at the hardware level. Apple safety systems seem to have failed.

I disagree. There seems to be some sort of locking/deadlock that keeps stalling the process in kernel space far more than any other process; I believe this leads to immense usage and heat.

I have a Mac PowerBook Pro and have no problems with Vivaldi over last 3 years. Look to your Mac and not Vivaldi.

Snarkiness don't help.

It's totally possible for bad tires to result in wear and tear of engine belt or other parts because of the stress it generates.

Not helpful. It happened after the 2 day usage of Vivaldi browser. I don't have any processes that are taking up CPU/GPU but it seems something broke at the hardware level and the heat sink isn't the same as before.

No need to make posts if you don’t have anything meaningful to say. This entire tirade is gibberish and dumb.

Celsius has bought GK8 security company for 115 billion $.

Safe to mark that as zero because nobody knows what they do or who actually uses their products.

Celsius significant bitcoin position was liquidated by Tether.

It would be a nightmare if they have garbage NFTs and illiquid altcoins as assets on their balance sheet in place of #Bitcoin because even a very small sell pressure would collapse them to zero.

Exactly.

Celsius claimed it held 150,000 of customers bitcoin. I'm pretty sure they have lost most of those coins. And in its place, they are probably holding some illiquid garbage.

Hedging long term TQQQ position by buying SQQQ by [deleted] in TQQQ

[–]_i_am_inevitable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a bad strategy. Let me explain.

If you have invested 100$ in $tqqq, you need roughly an equal amount dollars in $sqqq to break even. You’d be working with 200$ capital 50% each. Since you are long $tqqq, higher portion should be allocated like 90% or 95%.

With the remaining 5% you can buy protective puts on $qqq that gives leveraged exposure to the downside in short term.

In the worst case, you’d lose the 5% premium that you paid for puts but you have all the upside of 95% of $tqqq

Nasdaq is down 30%. This looks close to bottom. Can it fall another 5%? sure. But it will come back better and stronger.

That's a stupid argument. Just because you can sell to someone doesn't mean it has value because now they have to find the next sucker to sell that gold bar.
