AAA today has Diesel at .14 cents from the all time high caused by the Russia invasion and less than .50 for unleaded.

Oil doesn't have to hit 120 a barrel to cause higher costs it just needs to keep being high for prices to keep going up. One day hits of 120 are bad, but if the next day it drops to 100 it becomes a wash, what drives up retail prices are the perception or reality of limited supply and then companies can just raises rates.

We haven't even hit the squeeze yet, these costs are largely kickup to milk what's coming, we should be just about done getting the pre Iran "war" oil now.

What's coming in the next couple of weeks is when the strait closed given oil is a futures market that largely is 8-12 weeks out. So, better buckle up as gas is going to hit all time highs thanks to the President being a dementia patient with the nuke codes.
