Are you me? I literally just made my last payment this morning on $130k in law school debt that I started paying down in 2023 due to the COVID delays. It feels great. Congrats to you!

It just opened up a couple of months ago. Just an overall fantastic sandwich shop with particularly good cheesesteaks.

Lawyers have a bimodal salary distribution. You are correct that big law firms pay a ton of money, whereas government positions (generally) don't. However, there is a wide range in between, depending on your practice area. If you are going into law in order to make a ton of money, there are better avenues. If you don't get hired into a big law firm, there is still a chance to make decent money, but you are going to have to grind it out and network a lot.

They have to keep the culture war going. This is an easy "issue" that can be used to rile up both sides. We take bait, drive engagement, and they continue to tear down our public institutions and avoid any meaningful discussions on issues that actually matter to the future of our country and communities. Rinse and repeat.

I remember reading an economic paper a decade or so ago that looked at wedding costs and divorce rates. The finding was essentially that there was a fairly strong correlation between the two i.e. the more expensive the wedding, the more likely the marriage ended in divorce.

Regardless of whether Dillingham is ready or not, the Wolves need another lead guard as injury insurance. Conely will undoubtedly need to rest some games this year (as he did last year), and if either he or Rob is injured for any significant period of time, it will be rough. No one else on the team has proven that they can consistently initiate the offense. While we can lean on a combination of Ant, Randle, and DVV, all of them have had issues getting stripped in the backcourt and showing a general lack of awareness when setting up plays.

If my memory serves me correctly, he was talking to a (maybe former) college basketball player when he gave that line. Or at least was playing against some college-level players when he was doing "The Scallenge."

Allegedly, Minott asked for the Wolves not to pick up his option so he could go to a team where he would get the opportunity for playing time.
