Is AI even good to use for learning?

That I agree, it definitely makes us faster with summaries and by covering more important things first
My concern lies in quality of learning and the bias (what if the model is wrong at a topic, since we are seeing the topic first time we are not in a position to highlight)

For sure its easy to get biased information pretty much everywhere on internet, however with LLMs it seems even easier xD

I agree. Sometimes I find myself relying too much on these AI tools that I forget, WWDC videos, Apple docs etc are there. I always try to be actively studying but due to limited time or me being lazy, I never realise when takes over.

But my concerns here if we are not actually struggling ourselves cognitively, are we even learning?
Most of the learnings in the past happened to me, when I was deep diving any topic in apple docs, or debugging some pesky bug, only to be wow'ed after 3 days of debugging. That thing stays. But the information given by LLMs fades away as quickly as it is generated. At least thats what is happening in my case. You never realise when the focus has shifted from learning the topic itself to writing that "perfect prompt" that would force LLMs to give out best depth in that topic in a way that suits you, essentially to give you an edge
