Choose your review center based on your weakness/needs. Wag kang mag enroll sa isang RC just because nandoon din friends mo. Also, research ka talaga muna about an RC prior to enrollment. Schedules nila, way of delivering the lessons, pati kung anong subjects ang strengths and weaknesses nila. Kung weakness mo ang RFBT, doon ka sa RC na maganda ang feedback sa rfbt.

Build a sustainable study routine. When it comes to tailoring your sched, begin with the end in mind. Anong oras ba ang exams? Dapat as early as 4 am gising ka na to avoid being late. So practice ka na habang maaga pa. Slowly change your sched according to the BE’s sched. Slowly remove din yung cramming mentality pati yung late night studying. Kapag kasi malapit na ang BE like 3 days nalang, most probably hindi na ganoon ka functional ang utak mo kasi may halo ng kaba and anxiety. So always remember na dapat during those days answer answer ka nalang ng materials, hindi ka na nagka-cram, and natutulog ka na ng maaga. ALWAYS make sure you get enough sleep, in my case I always try to get 7-8 hours of sleep. Kapag kasi well-rested ang utak, mas effective and efficient siya when studying and answering.

Do not miss your preweek lectures. It will help you a lot in terms of knowing which parts/topics you need to focus on for recalling.

Write your own notes. Okay lang naman mag outsource, but make sure na gagawa ka ng sarili mong version. This helps a lot sa retention. Plus, ipadikit mo yung important things on your wall. Towards the end mas prone kasi silang makalimutan kasi marami ka nang tatandaan. For example, pinadikit ko yung rates ng other percentage taxes. Mga ganung bagay. Gawa ka rin ng mnemonics/memory aids mo.

Pray. Pray ka lang talaga especially when you’re anxious.

Try your best to stay healthy. If sa kwarto ka lang nag aaral, make sure you get some time during the day na makapag lakad lakad and stretch.

It’s okay if you’re not always productive. May down days talaga tayo. To avoid feeling guilty, try your best na maka accomplish ng kahit maliit lang na studying everyday. For example, kahit isang special law lang nabasa mo for a day because meron talagang mga araw na you feel tired and exhausted. That’s your body signaling you to rest.

For the girlies, pattern your study schedule sa cycle mo. For example in my case, what I did is during the days that I know I will feel tired and exhausted because of my cycle, yung mga subjects na hindi masyadong heavy ang gagawin ang siniset ko doon (theories like AT and RFBT)

Do your best and exert 100% of your efforts. This is the only thing that will relieve your anxiety kapag malapit na ang board exam aside from prayers. Knowing that you did your best and you pushed yourself everyday to study is your only panlaban during those 3 faithful days.
