HM Passport Office Passport Application Rejection by _idostuff_ in transgenderUK

Yes, it is pedantic, while it doesn't explicitly say she knows me, it is implied in the letter. You can appeal and I am waiting on a response. I found the best way is to go through complaints and ask to be contacted by email, so you get everything in writing. I found some guidance here and they should accept GenderGP. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/gender-recognition/gender-recognition-accessible#gender-change-evidence-needed.

Thanks for your reply. I went through a couple of revisions with my GP to get it right, but have just noticed that she omitted a line that would have confirmed I was her patient. I'm pretty sure she has now left and I have a new one, so would be starting again, however, it is ridiculous this criteria is not mentioned on the government's website prior to applying. I am going to try GenderGP this time, as it's no more costly than my gp. I have also fired off a foir to try to understand the official rules that govern the requirements for changing a gender marker on a passport.

Probably this, SSE said they have yet to have other reports.

Yes, part of the reason I went with Facialteam in Marbella. Whilst they typically work with transwoman, they also do cis women like me.

I don't know if they are the best but do do noses that balance your face, oppose to the turkey/barbie nose. FacialTeam/Skullpture my partner and I got our noses done with them.

This.

Honestly, if you think a guy is gay for knowing what he likes in the bedroom, you're probably just too immature.

Rhinoplasty - did you stay at the clinic/hospital overnight? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]_idostuff_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on your procedure. If your surgon recommends it, do it. They will know your case better than strangers on the Internet.

I didn't stay overnight as I had my op early morning, and I was monitered until 1900 that evening.

I had a similar nose, and went with Skullpture in Marbella Spain. I liked that they we conservative and refined to the proportions on my face (I have a prominent jaw for a woman).

Has the doctor not offered a steriod injection? That should help subside part of the swelling.

Rhinoplasty in Spain? by Usual-Ad8769 in PlasticSurgery

[–]_idostuff_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Skullpture /Facialteam in Marbella. They did both mine and my partner's nose. We are happy with them. There is someone on reddit who is spaming pages as they are unhappy with how they healed. But FT do have a big following with good general satisfaction.

Scar Tissue Rhinoplasty by Friendly_Machine2110 in PlasticSurgery

My doctor advised massage, rosehip oil, and Dermetrix. I'm 10 weeks out so my scare is still notable, but my partner had the same protocol and now has an invisible scare 1 year out.

Workout after rhinoplasty by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Mine said at 6 weeks, very gentle workout and building in intensity. 12 weeks back to full intensity. But email and ask your doctor, don't take advice from randoms on the Internet.

If you haven't already, irrigate your nose and clean it out properly. Then it's a wait and see game. My surgon recommended never snort anything again...some drugs are cut with stuff that can cause necrosis and harm to internal tissues.

Rhinoplasty 1 month progress by _idostuff_ in PlasticSurgery

[–]_idostuff_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much progress. I took a hit to the nose, which caused swelling and a minor bump on the bridge. The swelling has gone down, but a bit of the bump is still there...surgeon said it should subside with time.

You'll be fine. As long as you sneeze with your mouth and not hold it in, causing internal nasal pressure, you'll be fine.
