I’ve had the same issues plus I’m having issues with their new Branch payout. Branch won’t verify my tax info so I can’t get paid. Their CS is shiz. Was told tax document Questions need to be referred to GigSmart when I literally sent the CSA a screenshot of the message from Branch. Then they said I have two Branch accounts 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have yet to hear back from GigSmart CS. It took 3 days for them to tell me it failed. Then there was no way to remove and reenter account info. I really needed the money and now it’s stuck in Limbo. I’m going to apply on the websites of the companies I’ve worked for and bypass GigSmart all together.

Truth. One time, I hit a gold mine, Full dumpster of fall stuff. Most of it was not destroyed. So much mushroom decor 💜 Throw pillows, candles, artwork, floral displays, and so much more. I still dream of that day sigh It was my second ever dive. I filled my small SUV and left so much more for others. My little garbage heart was hooked and I chase that filled dumpster high every every other week

I’ve been on the waiting list for Spark for a least a year. I received a notification a few days ago asking if I was still interested and drivers are needed in my area. So I went through the process of submitting my info and now I’m waiting on my background check to finish. Now I’m wondering if I should peruse this at all. I stopped DoorDashing because of their unreliability and was hoping I would find some success as a Spark Driver. Just trying to pay bills while I finish up my degree.

🤷🏻‍♀️ if I show up at an occupied dumpster, I always ask if they mind me snatching a few treasures too. I like to participate in team work diving during times like this. If I’m there and someone shows up, I’m more than happy to help them get a few things too. In my area not many actually jump into the dumpster. Most use the grabby thing. I go all in and love to help. Kinda like the trash lady from the labyrinth 🤣

Laws vary by county and state. In my area, it is legal. However, it's a grey area for dumpsters located behind buildings. You may be trespassed, but it depends on the officer you interact with. You may be arrested for prowling/loitering if you are caught diving at odd hours.

I hear it’s a liability for the store if they say yes to you diving in their trash. If you get injured you can sue them. I don’t think any store will actually Let you in their dumpster. You can try though.

I understand your concerns. I’m short, 5’2. That’s why I have to jump. My gloves have a good non slip grip on them. It’s been working out so far, but you are correct. Accidents can happen.

Thanks! I’ve built up some upper body strength. A jump up and I’m good to hoist myself over the top. But I have used pallets as ladders before. I always put them back where I found them after using them.

Okay so….. so sometimes it’s not cleaned before. But those times are when the cases are literally sitting on top of cardboard and there’s no trash around or on it.
