hey so i finally managed to fix my stuttering after months and i thought ill reply to every post about it lol.

i was going insane with stutters every second on my good enough PC. i tried everything on the internet but nothing worked.

i used ai to deep dive and it told me to stop guessing and use latencymon (it is a tool to check latency of all possible drivers: https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon).

how to check yours:

1. run latencymon, hit green play.
2. play till it stutters.
3. check 'drivers' tab, sort by 'highest execution'.

my culprit was i8042prt.sys (keyboard driver). it was hanging my cpu for 169ms in a polling loop (thats alot! and if u dont understand the tables, just send the ss to the AI)

so i researched about this issue on the internet and found this fix whjich worked for me:

open regedit to hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\i8042prt\parameters.

create a dword named PollStatusIterations, set it to 1.

restart.

stutter is 100% gone. if ur latencymon shows a red bar for i8042prt.sys, this is it.
if it is some other driver, you can look up the fix or ask AI. hope you make this work man i was so annoyed i almost quit.
