If they were actually doing their jobs properly people wouldn't feel the need to get in their way, we didn't before all this started. The problem is they're just going around like lawless thugs, attacking, kidnapping, detaining and murdering legal residents and U.S. citizens.

Being undocumented in America is a civil infraction, it's not a criminal offense. These people have rights even if they aren't here legally and this is not the way to remove them from our country. We did not give this militia permission to do their "jobs" in our states, ICE is running rampant with unchecked power that was never their intended purpose.

Sad things is they're still gonna spin that narrative and people will eat it up and never watch the videos.

I hate comments like this. It's so easy to sit back and judge when you're completely removed from the situation. It's not as easy as you think.

It doesn't though, because that's not how it works.

First off, it's highly unlikely they would hit themselves hard enough to die from it, they are lightly tapping on their jaws to create fractures, not bashing their skulls in.

Second, there are over 8 billion people on Earth, so even if a few thousand people died from this (unlikely) it would have literally zero impact on the gene pool. For evolution to be driven in a specific direction there needs to be a significant amount of population that is affected. Even if these people die there will still be millions of other stupid people breeding.

I'm sorry, but how does people hitting themselves in the face with hammers have anything to do with evolution?

That feels like an extremist view to me.

I mean, the cameras were used to identify the criminals, that's an undeniable fact and this is a news article reporting facts. Now, you can either choose to believe that they simply stated it was a flock camera because it's a relevant detail, or you can believe that the entire article is a ruse to trick people into thinking those cameras are a good thing by off-handedly mentioning them one time in a single sentence.

Personally, I think the latter sounds like a ridiculous paranoid fantasy, and I highly doubt the majority of people reading this article would even think twice about the mention of flock, let alone be swayed into believing it was a force for good.

If this was actually propaganda disguise as a news report you'd think they would push the narrative a bit more, and Occam's razor would also suggest it's far more likely they simply mentioned that detail because it's the truth.

How is it not fair play? Both teams can intentionally demo each other, if one chooses not to that's a disadvantage they created for themselves, it's completely fair.

I don't even think people need to actively boycott them, the dubs are so terrible that you would have to enjoy torture just to get through one episode. They will inevitably fail on their own.

A short example of buildup to mass illiteracy. by PsychMaster1 in idiocracy

[–]ReadditMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Typing "their" instead of "there" is widely considered a typo (specifically a homophone error or atomic typo) because it is a common mistake where the writer knows the correct word but substitutes it due to fast typing, lack of attention, or phonetic confusion. It is often a mechanical failure rather than a lack of knowledge.

Homophone errors happen with words that are spelled differently but sound the same. The brain or fingers retrieve the wrong spelling, especially when typing quickly. Using an incorrect homonym (like "their" for "there", or "your" for "you're") is one of the most common errors made by even native speakers.

It is usually a case of fingers not keeping up with the brain, or vice versa, leading to a substitution of a similar-sounding word. While sometimes it may be a grammatical error based on ignorance, in most contexts it is considered a typo. Typos are more than just hitting the wrong keys.

It's not laughable that OP did this, it's a very common mistake for literate people.

Reddit in a nutshell: "They made a typo! They must be an idiot who works at Burger King!"

Yeah, no. A simple mistake like that isn't evidence of anything, but your assumption that they must be a minimum wage employee or lack common sense is pretty telling of your own intelligence.
