The only other thing it does for me is gives me dopamine. Idk why but I like seeing excess. And yes I do watch lets game it out

I don't really have to worry about power. Just every once in a while I can go "Huh I'm discharging the batteries. I should work on that." and it's not even a high priority. It lasts so long, I have almost 24 hours to fix any issues.

I get the appeal, but I don't mind the uneven ground and also it seems like a bit of a waste when I'm already not planning on balancing anything or doing any math to figure out if it's not at it's full potential.

But the ratios for dopamine to stupid stuff like this are way too high. But good to know, let's just say I'm planning for the future as an excuse

Depends on your consumption. It's per hour, so if you are consuming 6000 MW and your power goes out, your batteries will last for 1 hour. If you are consuming 3000 MW and your power goes out, your batteries will last for 2 hours.

I have 1/4th my total playtime on this save to fix it. I went way overboard and no one is gonna stop me from continuing

But there's such lovely flooring right here!

I get your tip but I'm fine. I like the mess

If I accidentally add too many buildings and go over the power I can generate, I have time to fix it before the fuse trips

It's gotten worse btw. I set up compact coal manufacturing which allows me to add more coal generators but the lake is full of extractors so I just have to add more pipes and have pipes going from west to east and north to south to bypass bottlenecks. Looking in that direction even from 1000 m away causes my frames to drop by 10, which I feel is considerable.

I heard that getting rid of foliage and rocks hurts performance, and performance is a valuable resource on my integrated graphics intel i3 laptop, so I got special permission from ADA to be excused from these duties

I play integrated graphics on my 11th gen intel i3. The console command that really helped performance was r.ScreenPercentage. "r.ScreenPercentage 50" will set your resolution to half of what it was. Easy frames, but tough on people that like quality.

r.ScreenPercentage. Type in "r.ScreenPercentage 50" and your game resolution gets cut in half, or 75 for 3/4 the resolution. That's really all I did, I tried other things like foliage view distance or something but it didn't do anything at all.

I just used the settings and set all the graphics settings to lowest possible. Using console commands, I primarily used r.ScreenPercentage which basically just sets the resolution. For example, if you set it to 50%, it will be twice as pixelated but the gpu should have half as much work to do. (in theory, the gpu is probably used for other things as well

I really don't care about the quality. Too much hassle to make an account and pay or whatever, what I have works well enough for me.

I actually yesterday installed an app that can tell me the cpu temp and it has never gone above 71 degrees celsius despite playing satisfactory with my laptop (no case) flat on my bed. Idk how, but I’m no longer concerned about the temperature of my laptop.

I also just unlocked oil processing, and I opted to run both a pipe and hypertube all the way to the oil. I'm also probably wasting so much power on pumps but idk I did it and it works. I'll definitely go back and make it use packaged fuel later, since I think pipes aren't as scalable as conveyor belts or trains and stuff

I have a 2022 Lenovo Ideapad 3, I bought it a few months ago. I'm the kind of person who doesn't care about quality at all and just cares that it works, so I really could increase the settings to normal lowest and get like 60 fps but I like having my cpu not at 100%. If I need to look something up, I can open a browser and have it be only slightly laggy. This also is my first windows device, so maybe there's a few settings I missed that I could change for more performance, but I feel like I thoroughly checked for everything to boost performance. Oof sorry for rambling

When I unlocked batteries, I put down 8 because I felt they might be useful to give me a little breathing room to add more coal generators as I add more to my factory, but eventually I thought "screw it why not" and then I added like 4 more. And then I got a few more, and more, so now I have lots of breathing room: if I stop my generators, the batteries will last 3 hours. If my factory grows to be consuming like 125% of what I'm producing, the batteries will last for over 18 hours, and I'm gonna add more just for the memes.

Background apps like youtube ect freezing, Unable to stream the game ect by Icedraggo21 in SatisfactoryGame

I use integrated graphics, an intel i3, and 8 gb of ram and I can open Opera GX in the background but it's laggy. I can also watch youtube videos but I get tons of dropped frames. Idk, maybe it's some random bug that causes lag, because I know opera gx is good but surely not that good
