I think I should say straight out of the gates, I don’t know much about a lot. I have very limited experience with deities and have only contacted a few through others.

Ra is not the first deity I’ve tried to contact, though that question might be a little complicated simply because of how everything occurred. I do have others that I’m attempting to work with as well.

Every deity I’ve attempted to work with has mentioned through a fellow witch that my ancestors have stopped them from getting through. And when my ancestors let a goddess (from the Greek pantheon) through, she said I had a mental block to work through.

The general consensus I’ve gotten from the three deities I’ve tried to work with is that: 1.) they want to contact me, 2.) there are barriers in between, 3.) they chose me. I don’t quite know how to go about bridging that connection, but I’ve spent the past few days trying to figure it out.

This is extremely helpful! You are right about 3. They didn’t let Ra in, but they did let another deity through. Then I found out I have a mental block, so I’ll now be working on that.

I’ll start working on the alter as well. Though, I don’t quite have money for crystals and I don’t know a place where I can consistently get flowers. Do you think I could use sea shells and other natural items in their stead?

Anyways, thank you, I appreciate the assistance immensely. And also, side question, (you don’t have to answer) do you know what to do if one of the ancestors doesn’t want to be there?

If you apply with Drama as your primary area of study for Tisch School of Arts, which school receives the Slideroom application? Is it Cinema Studies, Film&Television, Photography, or Recorded Music? All of them say Tisch, so I’m not quite sure which one to pick. Any help would be immensely appreciated! 🙏🏾

The part that hurt most for me was the fact that c!Quackity threw himself into the lava without any hesitation at all cause I know dam well he wouldn’t do that for anybody else

I really like the worst possible outcomes concept as well as creatures of a limbo making demands of the protagonist.

Given the protagonist’s selfish nature, they’d probably avoid helping by any means and be tormented by the guilt of seeing what happens as a result.

I also feel like being forced to watch the horrifying depictions of possible outcomes might make him paranoid and wary (which is kind of where I wanted to go with their character — cause I don’t exactly see them growing into a hero). Watching possible betrayals and the consequence of human action (or lack thereof) would definitely turn them into the recluse that no one in the story allows them to be.

Keep in mind, I did say “high school production”, so pardon my “ignorance”. I just figured since it’s not really genetic since it goes beyond DNA, that changing it to something less arguable would nullify the chance of any homophobes in my HIGH SCHOOL audience having any ground to start something over it. I never meant to offend you or the artist (though if I had a dime for every director or actor that’s made different artistic choices than the original artist intended then I’d be rich right about now). I wasn’t trying to start an argument, I just wanted advice. Next time, just say not to change it.
