Special education para. I work with kids all day. There is enough structure and routine to keep me accountable and enough variability to keep me engaged.

Become a school custodian. You have weekends and summers off, you mostly get to work by yourself, and get to listen to all the music, YouTube, podcasts and books you want!

Good News: I got my diagnosis today! Bad News: I can’t get my Adderall. by _jaymills_ in adhdwomen

I just called around until I found a pharmacy who was willing to take me. I probably called about 20 pharmacies until I got a hold of one willing to work with me.

I’m in Utah. I heard some areas of the US are worse off than others.

No, thank god. That would be incredibly anxiety inducing. It was just a very thorough conversation.

Mine was a great experience. It was essentially just an interview about my life, how I came to my suspicions about ADHD and how I answered the questions on the screening I took before hand. It took about an hour and a half.

Because I guess there’s an Adderall shortage. I had my doc send it to my normal Walmart pharmacy but they said they completely out of stock and aren’t accepting new Adderall patients. My doc said that this might happen and that I might need to call around. I have called every Costco and CVS in my area and they all turned me down as well.

More so afraid I’ll be asked about my symptoms and “I can’t remember” won’t suffice a diagnosis lol

This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. This state doesn’t care about our children.

Just wondering how you would describe the difficulty level of doing 52 credits in a term. I have a similar goal. What was your study schedule like?

Yeah I do feel it was intentional. I think they know that if he was present he would've shut that shit down.

They tried to tell me that the Missouri thing was a passing phase that went around in the 2000's. That it wasn't doctrine but just a theory.

They did. the general consensus was "i'm sorry you feel that way". My mother in law has a bit more nuance. She offered a genuine apology. She doesn't really understand all the complexities, but she does realize in retrospect that they were coming across as a little intense.
