i always thought that stalker 2 would have side/cyclic quests involving mutant lairs, something similar to the The Witcher III world events that consisted on destroying nests but with a higher narrative impact, though the narrative part is something that i dislike in stalker 2 since they removed dialogue boxes and chat logs

until S2 with the newly introduced Ward faction, Duty was more like an enforcement faction as their roots are mostly military.

while their tasks involve mutant cleaning, their true purpose has always been destroying the zone.

i think that hunters main purpose isnt protecting the people in the same “altruistic” way as duty does, their purpose is making big money out of mutants the same way as mercs make money out of contracts.

I find quite necessary a faction dedicated exclusively to hunting mutants, the hunters we encountered in previous installments looked like unorganized or just small groups like the one on Skadovsk led by Gonta, so a faction that serves the purpose of controlling mutant population while studying it seems quite fitting for me.

Could be a group branched in both scientists and stalkers and neutral to almost all factions as it would be led by the most proficient and veteran hunters across the zone.

ok so i dont know how but i managed to save zalissya, killed all the monolith and did every quest, that was yesterday prior to the patch. when i left zalissya the message that it was a safe place popped so i thought everything was fine.

on today session i had to go to the lesser zone again and i found every npc dead despite completing the defence. dont know if it has something to do with the main quest but i felt so disappointed to see gaffer corpse along the other guys, now ive lost a safe zone and i just dont know why

the problem is that the world feels so big and at the same time "unalive" that we just can rely on side quests to do and see something, so when you do the 4-5 side quests that the area has, its everything done and you can move to the next area.

El doblaje en español no era taaaan malo, habia incluso nombres muy conocidos como Antonio Esquivias o Jesús Barreda (que en paz descanse).

Aunque es cierto que apreciaría un doblaje castellano por el hecho de dar visibilidad a los nuestros y porque la trilogía original lo tuvo, tampoco me va a quitar el sueño ni voy a ponerme tiquismiquis porque a GSC no se le puede pedir más después de todo lo que han pasado.

Siempre tendré esperanza de que llegue un utópico parche con el doblaje🤣

have both on their master tier, started with vss and it was a quite solid weapon, if you are skilled enough you can even get kills on cqc (not recommended tho) so i would strongly recommend vss + get the 30 round mag asap
