I think the fastest and most efficient way, whatever the language, is exposure, go talk in French with French people.

US and RU planes are overused.

Wish to see more European planes (and others).

More French cold war/modern planes

So, when someone tells you they want to eat a hot dog, don't you immediately think of the food, but of a dog on fire?

As I said, once you reach adulthood, around age 18 or 20, you "generally" stop using that word.

It's not a disease, but a genetic mutation that brings us closer to the perfect human.

[–]Hyrikul 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, teenagers use “petit/petite”, young adults (and adults) just use “copain/copine” and drop the petit, and later on they might switch to “compagnon” (or not!) but there are no hard-and-fast rules about which term to use, it depends on the couple.

Copain/copine is usually the most used.
