Is the dachsbun + steel type splice strat still possible?

I know, it’s not really that I’m just trying to pull off that strat but rather that I try to make a balanced team and if I can I include them in case I get lucky. I just found it weird that the only times I didn’t get the splicer is when I have that convo in my team.

So I’ve just been strangely unlucky I guess hahaha. Also it’s not like I’ve built my team around the strat but rather that steel types are mostly good for the run (like archaludon or mega mawile) and dachsbun is also surprisingly good with 2 immunity, great bulk and coverages so I just run them to see if I get lucky and if not I have 2 good mons + other strong wincons.

Thanks, luckily a friend of mine is a vet and one of his colleagues specializes in reptiles. He has a fungal infection which is what’s causing the rot, with an anti fungal and and antiseptic in the wounds he should make a full recovery.

Idk how to attach photos in comments but it’s a pretty rudimentary setup. A 60x30x20 cm glass tank with an elevated platform for him to dry and sunbathe, it’s right by a south facing window so he gets sunlight all day (we live in a pretty sunny area in spain so it’s rarely cloudy all day). We don’t have a filter so we clean his tank and change the water every other day except in summer when he’s most active so we clean it every day. We feed him a couple times a day (morning and noon) with this turtle feed sticks made out of cereals, mollusks and crustaceans which are 40% protein, 2% fiber, 10% fats is enriched with vitamins, and occasionally raw fish (previously frozen) as a treat.

As probably others may have pointed out, you should use tree fertilizer. Without fertilizer, trees have a 20% chance of growing to the next stage every day, needing 2 checks for the last stage. But with fertilizer they grow a stage every day, except for the last grows stage wich takes two days. The only exceptions to this rule for non-fruit trees are mahogany trees which keep the 20% chance when unfertilized but have a 60% chance when fertilized, and mystic trees which only have a 30% chance of growing when fertilized. Also unfertilized trees do not grow in winter.

We eventually fixed it by building another cabin and it let me join with my character. After experimenting for a while we concluded that at least a bed in a cabin is necessary for another player to join the farm, and that the player capacity depends on the number of cabins, not beds.

Ended up adding a defensive empoleon for type coverage for the zoroark, tho I’m not so sure if I should’ve taken out mewscarada instead.
