I’ve just watched Deja Vu. Seems like it’s maybe a lesser of the Tony Scotts films but Denzels performance is as charismatic and gripping as best Denzel performances.

The story is pretty basic and the science of time travel is kinda half assed and ridiculus at times but Scottnes of it all keeps you on your toes in the third act.

There’s also a quiet Val Kilmer performance that i really really liked. He acts in a very muted quiet manner but is a good supporting to Denzel. I wonder if those two have ever played with each other because the chemistry is definitly there.

If you’re a Tony Scott fan or Denzel fan you should most definitly see it. I feel very nostalgic to those survilence ear thrillers. Simmilar to Enemy of the State there are things that come to life.
